Wes Bowers has earned a reputation as the "self-reliant potter." He received his ceramics training at the Center for the Creative Arts in Yorklyn, DE where he studied with Bernie Felch and Lynn Schwartz and at the Baltimore Clayworks studying with Sam Chung and Gay Smith.
His awards and honors include third place in the 2001 and 2003 Kennett Mushroom Festival Art Show. Wes resides in Kennett Square, PA with his family.
