Nancy Dowling is a life‑long resident of the Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania area. She has studied watercolor with Karl Kuerner and other local instructors and has participated in workshops in this area and in County Mayo, Ireland. Nancy enjoys painting local and Irish scenes, winter landscapes and animals.
Nancy’s paintings have appeared in several invitational and juried shows, including Delaware County Community College, where she is a past recipient of the Purchase Award. She volunteers in the Critter Program at the Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford and is a member of the Chester County Art Association and Darlington Art Center. She is also a juried member of the Artists’ Guild of Delaware County.
Nancy, along with her husband Jerry, were the featured artists for the 2006 Unionville Art Show held in October.
