Born in Troy, New York, Beverly received her art education and degree from Rhode Island School of Design. Working in Watercolor, she depicts scenes of Chester County, PA; the Amish Countryside, Nantucket and Maine. She also enjoys creating dramatic still life.
Ms. Hoffsis has had numerous one-person and small group shows. She has won many awards in juried shows, both locally and nationally. Galleries in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Delaware display her work. Her paintings are in the permanent collection of the Birmingham Museum of Art, as well as, private and corporate collections such as ARCO, ICI and CoreStates.
Beverly is a member of the American Watercolor Society, associate Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, signature Philadelphia Watercolor Society, signature Chester County Art Association, Woodmere Museum, and Wayne Art Center.
