Joan grew up in Pennsylvania and after graduating from college, studied Architecture for three years in Boston, MA. After working for an Architectural firm for several years, she realized that her first love was painting. Joan is "equally fascinated with landscape, portrait and stil life studies." Her medium of choice is oil.
Joan moved to California and continued landscape painting. After several years on the West Coast, she decided to move back to Pennsylvania to be closer to her family.
