Joan’s oil paintings of children portray an innocence of childhood that sparks happy memories in all of us. Her paintings of children and women have an unusual sensitivity. Annual trips to New Mexico and Arizona have broadened the artist’s love for children. Now Joan paints Native American little ones with a new wonder and excitement.
Joan is recognized at various shows where she has exhibited over the years. Immaculata University, Rittenhouse Square F.A.A., Daylesford Abbey, Notre Dame Academy, Ocean City Art Center One Woman Show are a few of the juried and invitational shows in which Joan has participated. Her work is represented in Haddonfield and Ocean City, New Jersey, Bonita Springs, Florida and Kennett Square, Pennsylvania Art Galleries.
Joan earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Beaver College. Advertising and fashion illustration were he entry into the commercial art field. She resides in Kennett Square, PA
