Carol Crane & Joan Hollander

July 9th - July 25th

Original oils by two exceptional artists, Carol Crane and Joan Hollander.

Carol's style is impressionistic using vivid colors depicting still life, landscape and floral subject matter.

Joan, whose style is somewhat impressionistic, uses a soft color palette. Her subject matter includes Beach themes, Hunt scenes, florals and landscapes. She also creates wonderful pieces with children as central figures.

Note: The July First Friday Art Stroll has been changed to the second Friday of the month, July 9th.

Murder Mystery Art Stroll

August 6th

Historic Kennett Square and the merchants are hosting the annual Murder Mystery Art Stroll on Friday evening, August 6th, from 6-9pm. The wonderful actors of K.A.T.S.

will both write the plot and perform during the event.

Someone was murdered in the Borough of Kennett!  Your help is needed to find out who the killer is by interviewing all of the suspects who will take up residence for the evening in each of the downtown shops. Meet at the Genesis walkway by the parking garage at 6:00 to get the scoop and hint sheets.

This is an extremely popular event so come early and join in the fun. We will be serving wine, cheese and other light fare during the evening.

Parking is free Monday through Friday after 5:00pm and all day and evening on Saturday & Sunday.

MaryAnn Weselyk & Edith Prudente

Edith Prudente.

MaryAnn works in an expressionistic style, using saturated unusual color combinations and fun patterns along with strong linear movement and texture. Her art ranges from impressionistic to abstract.

Ede's work has an impressionistic style. Her use of color ranges from subtle to bold and is a signature part of her art. Her subjects are as varied as her art and include, florals, still life, beach and sailing themes, jazz musicians to name a few.

Autumn Nights

Judy Antonelli & Nan Jackson

October 1st - October 24th

Original Oils & Watercolors by Judy Antonelli; Oils by Nan Jackson.

Judy's work, whose subject matter is comprised of landscapes, still life, floral, and everything in between, is influenced by the Chester County countryside and her travels throughout Europe.

Nan, who has developed quite a following with her wonderful Belted Galloway pieces, is also well known for her broad range of subjects including still life, florals, landscapes, animals.
