Debra Lane is a potter and fiber artist. Her first pottery class was at a regional community art center.
Debra creates functional wheel thrown and hand built stoneware pottery for everyday use. She fires her work in either a gas or electric kiln to achieve different glaze effects. Everything is hand-made and individually decorated. Her functional work is designed to withstand the rigors of daily usage. "Nothing is more satisfying than someone telling me they use my pottery everyday."
Debra is a member of The Potters Guild in Delaware County, PA and a member of the Community Arts Center in Wallingford, PA. She participates in regional juried shows.
